The Washington Chaplains for State Penal and Reformatory Institutions Amendment, also known as Amendment to Article I, Section 11, was on the November 8, 1904 ballot in Washington as a legislatively-referred constitutional amendment, where it was approved. The measure authorized the state legislature to employ chaplains for state penal and reformatory institutions.[1] The measure amended Section 11 of Article I of the Washington State Constitution.[2]
