The initiative would have made it a crime to interfere with a signature gatherer or person trying to sign an initiative or referendum petition.[1][2]
Initiative sponsors included: Tim Eyman, Leo J. Fagan and M.J. Fagan.

In order to qualify for the ballot, supporters were required to submit a minimum of 241,153 valid signatures. As of July 8, 2011, petition deadline day, no signatures were filed.
