Sturgis' opponent in the November 2 general election was Democratic candidate Megan Rochelo. According to unofficial results, Rochelo defeated Sturgis in the November 2 general election.[1] Democratic incumbent Stephen Beaudette was not eligible for re-election under Maine's term limits.
