A West Branch-Rose City School District Bond Measure was on the May 3, 2011 ballot in the West Branch-Rose City school district area which is in Ogemaw County.

This measure was defeated

  • YES 425
  • NO 2,938 Defeatedd

This measure sought to issue a bond in the amount of $17.7 million in order to help additions to the High school, updating technology at the schools as well as improving facility sites and purchasing new buses.[1] School board officials noted that it was hard to decide to put a bond on the ballot but felt that the improvements were needed at the schools. A larger bond was first discussed but board members decided on reductions hoping it would have a better chance of getting approved.[2]
