A West Virginia Local Bonds and Levies Amendment did not appear on the 2012 statewide ballot in West Virginia as a legislatively-referred constitutional amendment. The measure would have allowed simple majorities to approve local bonds and levies. Currently, the state constitution requires levies garner 60 percent of the vote.[1]
