A White Lake Ambulance District Levy Renewal measure was on the November 8, 2011 ballot in the White Lake ambulance district area which is in Muskegon County.

This measure sought to renew the current district levy which is set at a rate of $.55 per $1,000 of assessed property value for a further five years in order to continue to pay for operational costs within the district.[2]

The question on the ballot:

Shall the White Lake Ambulance Authority (hereinafter “Authority”) be authorized to levy a renewal tax at a rate not to exceed .55 mills (resulting in a tax of $0.55 for each $1,000.00 taxable value) on all taxable property within the limits of the Authority defined as the City of Whitehall, City of Montague, Blue Lake Township, Fruitland Township, Whitehall Township, Montague Township, White River Township for a period of five (5) years for operating purposes with a total estimated amount of revenue of $378,372.00 to be collected in the first year of 2011.[3]
