Dean ran in the 2012 election for the U.S. House, representing New Hampshire's 2nd District. He faced Gerard Beloin, incumbent Charlie Bass, Miroslaw Dziedzic, and Dennis Lamare in the Republican primary. Bass won the primary.[1][2]
