Will Hurd is a 2014 Republican candidate seeking election to the U.S. House to represent the 23rd Congressional District of Texas.[1]

Biography

Hurd attended Texas A&M University. He then spent nearly a decade working primarily in the Middle East and South Asia as an undercover officer in the CIA. After leaving the CIA, Hurd joined the Crumpton Group as a partner and helped build the cybersecurity company FusionX.[2]

Hurd is running in the 2014 election for the U.S. House to represent Texas' 23rd District. Hurd and Francisco Canseco advanced past the Republican primary on March 4, 2014. They will face off in the runoff election on May 27, 2014.[4] The general election takes place November 4, 2014.
