William Magee (b. June 21, 1939) is a Democratic member of the New York State Assembly, representing District 121 since 2013. He previously represented District 111 from 1991 to 2013. Magee's political experiences also include being a member of the County Board of Supervisors and supervisor for the Town of Nelson.

Magee is a professional auctioneer with Magee's Auction Service. His other professional experiences include manager of agriculture and livestock/equestrian events and the manager/coordinator of special projects for the New York State Fair.

Magee earned a BA in agricultural economics from Cornell University. He is married to Jeanette.[1]

Magee ran in the 2012 election for New York State Assembly District 121. He ran unopposed in the Democratic primary on September 13, 2012. He also ran on the Independence Party of New York State ticket. He defeated Levi J. Spires in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012. [2][3]
