The 3rd congressional district of Wisconsin will hold an election for the U.S. House of Representatives on November 4, 2014.

Wisconsin has an open primary system, in which registered voters do not have to be members of a party to vote in that party's primary.

Heading into the election the incumbent is Ron Kind (D), who was first elected in 1996.

Wisconsin's 3rd Congressional District encompasses Lafayette, Grant, Crawford, Iowa, Sauk, Richland, Vernon, Juneau, Jackson, Monroe, La Crosse, Trempealeau, Clark, Eau Claire, Buffalo, Pepin, Pierce, St. Croix and Dunn counties.[1]

2012

The 3rd congressional district of Wisconsin held an election for the U.S. House of Representatives on November 6, 2012. Incumbent Ron Kind won re-election in the district.[6]

2010

On November 2, 2010, Ron Kind won re-election to the U.S. House of Representatives, defeating Dan Kapanke (R) and Michael Krsiean (Independent Citizen for Constitutional Government).[7]
