The Wisconsin Equal Suffrage Referendum was a constitutional convention referral / Wisconsin referendum on the April 5, 1849 ballot in Wisconsin, where it was defeated.

  • This referendum sought to extend equal suffrage men over the age of 21, regardless of skin color.[1]
