The Wisconsin Equal Suffrage Referendum was a constitutional convention referral / Wisconsin referendum on the April 5, 1849 ballot in Wisconsin, where it was defeated.

This referendum sought to extend equal suffrage men over the age of 21, regardless of skin color.[1]
