The Wisconsin State Auditor is a state executive position in the Wisconsin state government. Joe Chrisman is the interim officeholder.

Authority

The legislative audit bureau was created in 1965 by Chapter 659 of the Wisconsin state code.[1]

Compensation

In 2010, the Wisconsin State Auditor was paid an estimated $121,973 according to the Council of State Governments.[2]
