The Wisconsin State Control and Funding of Vocational Education Question was a Wisconsin referendum / legislatively-referred state statute on the April 1, 1969 ballot in Wisconsin, where it was defeated.

This referendum sought the people's opinion as to whether the state should take over control and funding of vocational education programs.[1]

Text of measure

The language that appeared on the ballot:

"Should vocational, technical and adult education be controlled by the state and paid for out of state tax revenues? (Note : Vocational, technical and adult education is now controlled locally and principally paid for from local property tax revenues."[1]
