A Wood County Health Service Levy Replacement measure was on the November 2, 2010 ballot in Wood County.

This measure was approved

  • YES 26,325 (60.8%) Approveda
  • NO 16,987 (39.2%)[1]

This measure sought to replace an expiring levy with a .5 mill property tax in the county which will go towards health services given by the county. Some members of the health department staff were not in agreement with the proposed levy due to issues with how money is spent, but the board approved the addition onto the ballot unanimously.[2]
