The structure of the Wyoming judicial system is laid out in Article V of the state constitution. The state court system is made up of the Wyoming Supreme Court, the Wyoming Circuit Courts, the Wyoming District Courts and the Wyoming Municipal Courts.

The federal court in Wyoming is the United States District Court for the District of Wyoming. Appeals from these courts go to the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit. Wyoming does not have an intermediate appellate court below the Supreme Court. Instead, those appellate cases are heard by the District Courts.
