A Zeeland Township Road Levy Renewal measure was on the August 7, 2012 ballot in the township of Zeeland, which is in Ottawa County.

This measure sought to renew the current road levy which is set at a rate of $1 per $1,000 of assessed value for a further six years in order to continue to pay for road repair and construction costs in the township. It was approved.

The question on the ballot:

Shall the previously voted increase in the tax limitations upon the general ad valorem taxes on real and personal property within Zeeland Charter Township, Ottawa County, Michigan, be renewed at 1.0 mill ($1.00 per thousand dollars of taxable valuation) for six years, 2013 through 2018, inclusive, for all property in the Township, to provide funds for the repair, construction and/or reconstruction of roads, bridges and/or drainage structures; and shall theTownship be authorized to levy the tax?[1][2]
