Asa Hutchinson

Hutchinson's campaign website listed the following policy, "Reform federal law enforcement agencies to make them more accountable, transparent, and focused. The FBI will be streamlined and the leadership within the Department of Justice will be changed to assure the equal enforcement of the law and greater accountability. I will establish a unified framework through a charter that safeguards civil liberties, enhances accountability, ensures consistency across all 90 law enforcement agencies, and rebuilds trust between law enforcement and the American people. In addition, each agency will have its jurisdiction clearly defined and we will eliminate overlapping responsibilities." [source, as of 2023-12-19]

Vivek Ramaswamy

Ramswamy's campaign website listed the following policy, "Shut down toxic government agencies: Dept of Education, FBI, IRS, and more (and rebuild from scratch when required)." [source, as of 2023-12-21]

Donald Trump

Trump said in a statement, “I will appoint U.S. Attorneys who will be the polar opposite of the Soros District Attorneys and others that are being appointed throughout the United States. Very unfair to our population. Very unfair to our country. They will be the 100 most ferocious legal warriors against crime and Communist corruption that this country has ever seen. As we completely overhaul the federal Department of Justice and FBI, we will also launch sweeping civil rights investigations into Marxist local District Attorneys. [...] In addition, we will have a complete investigation into the use of police state tactics by federal authorities to arrest conservatives and Christians. We will find out who ordered it, and we will hold them totally accountable.” [source, as of 2023-12-21]
