The city of Stockton, California held elections for city council on November 4, 2014. A primary election took place on June 3, 2014. Because one candidate received more than 50 percent of the vote in the primary election for District 1, the general election was called off. Incumbent Elbert Holman, Jr. defeated A.S. "Rick" Grewal.[1][2]
