A. Jay Cristol
Ahorn Jay Cristol is a Federal Bankruptcy Court Judge for the United States bankruptcy court, Southern District of Florida. He was appointed to the court on April 17, 1985. Cristol served as chief judge from 1993 to September 1999.[1]
Education
Judge Cristol attended the University of Miami for his bachelor's degree and J.D.[2]
Military service
Cristol served in the Reserve Judge Advocate Generals Corps for twenty years.[1]
Career
Prior to joining the court, Cristol was an attorney in private practice for twenty-five years.[1]
