A ABC Unified School District School Improvement Funding, Measure AA ballot question was on the November 4, 2014 election ballot for voters in the ABC Unified School District in Lost Angeles county, California. It was defeated.

If approved, Measure AA would have authorized the district to increase its debt by $195.2 million through issuing general obligation bonds in that amount to fund major renovations, repairs and upgrades to classrooms and schools throughout the district.[1][2]

A 55 percent supermajority vote was required for the approval of this measure.

Ballot question

The question on the ballot:[1]

ABC USD – To renovate and equip classrooms and school facilities District-wide; increase student

access to modern technology; expand career technical education facilities including science, technology, engineering and math; and replace roofs and outdated heating and air conditioning systems; shall ABC Unified School District be authorized to issue $195,200,000 of bonds, with interest rates within legal limits, independent citizen oversight, no money for administrator salaries, and all funds controlled locally?[3]
