A look at the Idaho state prison control amendment

BOISE, Idaho: The Idaho State Prison Control Amendment will appear on the November 6, 2012 ballot in the state of Idaho as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. The measure, known as Senate Joint Resolution 102 would allow the State Board of Correction control, direction and management of adult felony probation and parole.^[1]

With the addition of this measure, a total of five statewide questions will appear before Idaho voters this fall. Three of those are veto referendums placed on the ballot by citizen-initiative.
