Aaron Baker is a Republican political strategist who worked as a vice president of Clout Public Affairs, a group that "provides integrated, creative and tailored solutions to national and local clients who have government and public affairs issues," according to its website.[1][2]

Clout Public Affairs, founded by Jeff Roe, is the public affairs division of Axiom Strategies, a campaign consulting firm based in Kansas City, Mo. Baker managed the launch of Axiom Strategies' Clout Public Affairs in 2017.[3][4]

Biography

Education

In 2004, Baker graduated from the University of Missouri with a bachelor's of science in agricultural economics.[4]

Career

In 2002, Baker began working on political campaigns and held a variety of positions, including "grassroots director and a spokesperson for statewide campaigns for governor, United States Senate and ballot initiatives," according to Clout Public Affairs' website. He was state Sen. Bill Stouffer’s (R-Mo.) chief of staff from 2005 to 2012. Baker then worked for U.S. Rep. Sam Graves (R-Mo.) from 2012 to 2014.[4][2][5]

In 2014, Baker began working for Axiom Strategies. In 2016, he managed several political campaigns, including those of U.S. Rep. Sam Graves (R-Mo.) and state Sens. Ryan Silvey (R-Mo.), Bill Eigel (R-Mo.), and Denny Hoskins (R-Mo.). Baker also worked on opposing Amendment 3. He then managed the launch of Axiom Strategies' Clout Public Affairs in 2017. [2][5]

Philanthropy

Baker helped found a non-for-profit ministry, and he is a member of the Agriculture Leadership of Tomorrow (ALOT), Farm Bureau, and the Missouri Cattlemen’s Association. He and his wife also take care of foster children in their home.[2]
