Proud lifetime resident of Macomb County, Michigan. There's nowhere else I'd rather live! I've been involved in grassroots political activism in one form or another since the early 2000's. My approach to navigating conclusions is the same within political arena as in life -- Don't Hurt People and Don't Take Their Stuff.
  • I want the good people of Macomb County to know that they are being fleeced by their local government. The part-time 13 County Commissioners elected in Macomb will "earn" a $39,375 yearly salary this upcoming term in 2025. They conveniently voted themselves raises for the following 2028 term a $46,897 salary. Also, the Chair's salary of $101,249 this term, will raise to $120,589 in 2028. Shameful and embarrassing.
  • Macomb County Commissioner meetings are currently held during weekdays in the afternoon. At a time when the average person is either at work or commuting to/from. I want to encourage public involvement and at the very LEAST every other meeting held in the early evening so residents can attend. They know nobody logs onto the county government website to review the meeting minutes.....
  • If elected, I pledge to donate half of the stolen money (your tax dollars/my CC salary) to charity. I would donate all the stolen money (your tax dollars), but I'll need to take time off from my full time job to fulfill my duties as commissioner. The donation will be split 50/50 between All About Animals Rescue & The Trevor Project ; two charities I care about deeply that I believe enrich our society by their existence.
Economic and monetary policy. I enjoy torturing myself by researching how the government mismanages it's stolen money supply and fiscal policy.
Acknowledging how the Democrat and Republican parties have collectively run up insurmountable debt while continuing to steal from American people.
Being the conscience of your constituents. Not feeling okay about stealing from the people of the district whom elected you. Respecting people's private property rights by understanding that asking for permission and permits from the government to do what you want on your own land is nonsense.
People should know that the "powers" of a County Commissioner is very limited. County Commissioner's don't pass laws... Rather they oversee the county budget and the ways county departments interact with each other. Not to mention photo-ops for ribbon cutting grand openings and festivals.

This is a very overpaid part-time position the Democrats and Republicans nominate their friends and family for easy pay checks they don't think twice about cashing from the people.
County Commissioner's SHOULD be a direct contact for their constituents. If there are issues or concerns relating to a county ran agency or department they are being forced to pay for -- I will make certain the people receive the best possible experience.
A Republican Senator and a Democratic Senator are drowning and you can only save one. Do you...
