Neumann's campaign website highlighted the following issues:

Agriculture: Sustain Ohio's Farmland and Family Farmers

  • Stabilize CAUV program so our farmers can focus on farming instead of worrying about the next tax bill.
  • Expand university extension programs to lead in agricultual science and engineering.
  • Promote Ohio's abundant agritourism locations and rural communities.

Drug Abuse and Addiction: Quit Talking, Take Action

  • Expand overdose prevention efforts and Good Samaritan laws.
  • Redirect limited resources to sheriffs and communities on the front lines of addiction.
  • Enact legislation to allow limited, regulated, and safe access to medical marijuana.

Education: Schools Should Be Investments

  • Prevent political interference and respect school boards, educators, and families.
  • Promote critical areas of early education, career training, and lifelong learning.
  • Work with the private sector to develop student loan assistance programs.

Elections and Redistricting: Push Forward on Sensible Reforms

  • Continue reforms to fix our broken General Assembly and Congressional districts by 2020.
  • Repeal term limits for Senators to return stability, continuity, and comity to the Statehouse.
  • Work with county boards of elections to modernize our system and ensure every vote counts.

Tourism and Entertainment: Promote Ohio as a Destination

  • Reduce state sales tax for tourist areas and attractions during peak seasons.
  • Expand the Film Tax Credit to lure studios and grow our domestic media industry.
  • Reallocate existing tax revenue for modest increases to tourism marketing.[4]
