Campaign website

Williams' campaign website stated the following:

Issues

Aaron firmly believes in advocating on behalf of all Boone County constituents to achieve the best quality of life. #BetterInBoone

Public Safety

Boone County is one the safest communities in the United States and Aaron wants to continue building on that legacy.

School safety that is adequately staffed with School Resource Officers is a top priority for Aaron. Additionally, Aaron is working to ensure the Boone County Prosecutor's Office is funded in order to launch a new task-force aimed at taking sexual child abuse predators off of our streets.

In 2021 Aaron championed and led the effort at Boone County Council Budget Workshop to secure the largest pay raise and increase in the Boone County Sheriff's Office history.

Finally, Aaron is committed to working with all public safety agencies throughout the county to make certain they have the appropriate resources to fulfill their respective duties.

Fiscal Responsibility

Aaron is a fiscal conservative and believes in fully understanding where and how tax payer dollars are spent. As a small business owner, Aaron knows firsthand the economic and business benefits in the short term and long term from prudent fiscal management.

Aaron will continue to be fiscally responsible and the best steward of the constituents of Boone County's hard earned tax dollars.

Economic Development

Aaron is working to make Boone County the state's most desirable county to start a business and grow existing ones. Through existing relationships and partnerships that Aaron has cultivated over the last 20 years, he continues to be a champion and advocate for driving economic development opportunities in Boone.

Aaron is often heard using the phrase #BetterInBoone. His personal philosophy is that if we build the environment for businesses to succeed, they will come.

Improved Infrastructure

Since his first day as a member of the Boone County Council, Aaron has and continues to be a fierce proponent to develop a plan (and accompanying funding) that will drastically improve the existing infrastructure throughout the County.

Aaron continues to advocate for a 5,10, and 15 year plan that addresses the current and future needs of the County's infrastructure. As the county faces a higher than usual number of closed bridges and roads, Aaron believes a focus on infrastructure improvement is one of the most important, if not the most important challenges the County faces.

Aaron believes a robust infrastructure drives investments of private capital, that in turn increases job opportunities, which yields higher wages, encouraging additional work and incentivizing higher investment in private capital.
