Abby Broyles is an attorney and award-winning journalist who exposed corruption, held political leaders accountable, and made sure Oklahoma families had a voice. Now she's off the sidelines, ready to make Washington work and do the things we need to get us out of this mess.

After graduating from California Baptist University in 2.5 years with a Bachelor's degree in Journalism, she spent a decade on-air while also putting herself through law school.

Hard work is in Abby's DNA and with so many issues facing Oklahomans from healthcare, racial inequality, jobs, and equal pay for women it's going to take a new generation of leadership who is ready to ignore the old boys club and work across the aisle to get things done.

In the Senate, Abby will never forget who she works for; she's committed to a transparent office and will publish her daily schedule online as well as continue to decline all corporate PAC money for her campaign. Abby Broyles has been a pioneer her entire career and that spirit of hard work, determination, and getting things done will serve every Oklahoman during her time in office.

  • Abby gets it done. She sees something that needs to be brought from the shadows and into the light, she does it - there is no time for games with Abby Broyles.
  • Honesty and transparency. Abby doesn't like to beat around the bush. She'll always be up-front about what she's working on and has committed to transparency by publishing her daily schedule so Oklahomans will always know who she is meeting with in DC.
  • Partisanship is over. The Washington game of only working with someone from your own political party has us the country stuck in neutral and both sides complaining about the other. She's ready to work with anyone and across the aisle to tackle the issues facing us today.
Affordable and accessible healthcare tops the list of priorities for Abby Broyles. For Oklahoma families, healthcare is a pocketbook issue. Our families face rising premiums, the burden of high deductibles, and lack access to quality care. Something is wrong with our healthcare system, and Abby shares the skepticism that more government is the answer. Abby will protect Oklahomans with pre-existing conditions. One in every three Oklahomans has a pre-existing condition. Yet, Jim Inhofe has repeatedly voted to allow insurance companies to knock these Oklahomans off their plans.

Abby will uplift Oklahoma's farmers. Oklahomans know our economy is driven by agriculture-cattle and calves, hogs, broilers, wheat, and dairy are essential. For too long, Washington politicians have treated rural Oklahoma and Oklahoma farmers as an afterthought. Abby will work to reverse farm policies that have led to disastrous consequences. Oklahoma's family farms have become collateral damage in a trade war supported by Jim Inhofe. Abby will put Oklahoma's farmers first.

For Abby Broyles, climate change is not a hoax and we can't afford to gamble with our future. The consensus of scientific research has made it clear to Abby that we can't afford the risk of inaction. Dogmatism shouldn't be a defining feature of policymaking. Abby will protect Oklahoma's jobs and way of life while taking concrete steps to reduce the impact of climate change.
Abby sees the political divisions and the hyper-partisanship that has taken over this nation as an existential threat keeping us from achieving that more perfect union our founders sought. Common decency has given way to a win at all costs mentality and that 'win' more times than not comes at the price of making someone else lose. This is no way to govern, let alone debate the challenges facing our country. If we do not move past the partisan bickering and find a way to seek common ground we will never achieve the goals of tackling the tough issues..
Article II, Section 2 of the Constitution provides that the President shall appoint officers of the United States "by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate." To that end, Abby Broyles believes most strongly that partisanship and the politics of appointments have for too long dominated the climate and the current Senator from Oklahoma has put political posturing at times above what is best for the country. Whether it is a judicial or cabinet appointee, Abby will start by asking the question, "what makes you uniquely qualified and will your service benefit all Americans?'
Abby has said from the moment she entered the race for the United States Senate that she will work with anyone, from either political party, to get things done for Oklahomans and for all Americans. As stated earlier if someone is more concerned with partisan politics or just winning the next election that will not allow for tackling the challenges we face. Abby will work day and night to build the relationships from within her caucus and across the aisle so compromises can be found and gridlock can become a thing of the past.
