Abden Simmons
Abden Simmons (Republican Party) is a member of the Maine House of Representatives, representing District 45. He assumed office on June 14, 2023. His current term ends on December 1, 2026.
Simmons (Republican Party) ran for re-election to the Maine House of Representatives to represent District 45. He won in the general election on November 5, 2024.
On February 10, 2026, Simmons announced he would not run for re-election to the Maine House of Representatives District 45 in 2026.[1]
Biography
Abden Simmons lives in Waldoboro, Maine. Simmons graduated from Medomak Valley High School. His career experience includes operating A&A Shellfish and working as a shellfish harvester, an elver fisherman, and a sternman. Simmons has served as the executive director of the Maine Elver Fisherman Association, the chair of the Waldoboro Shellfish Committee, and a member of Maine’s Shellfish Advisory Council.[2]
