Abe Shafer was a circuit court judge for the 6th Circuit Court in Missouri.[1] Shafer served on the court from his appointment in 1999 until his retirement in July 18, 2013.[2][3]

Education

Shafer earned his B.A. from the University of Missouri-Columbia and his J.D. from the University of Kansas.[2]

Career

Before his appointment to the court, Shafer engaged in private practice and as a prosecuting attorney in Platte County.[2]
