Abena Darkeh is a judge of the New York City Criminal Courts in New York. She was appointed to this position by Mayor Bill de Blasio in February 2015.[1][2]

Education

Darkeh earned her J.D. from Hofstra University.[2]

Career

Prior to her appointment to the New York City Criminal Courts in February 2015, Darkeh served as deputy commissioner for regional affairs and federal programs for the New York State Division of Human Rights. Prior to that, she served as citywide domestic violence coordinator for New York City Criminal Court.[1][2]
