Abigail Anthony is the Rhode Island Public Utilities Commissioner. Anthony assumed office in 2017.

She was first appointed to the commission in June 2017 by Governor Gina Raimondo (D). She previously served on the Rhode Island Energy Efficiency and Resource Management Council.[1]

According to the website of the Rhode Island Public Service Commission:[1]

Abigail previously was the director of Acadia Center’s Grid Modernization and Utility Reform Initiative, and the organization’s Rhode Island director. Abigail was appointed by Governors Carcieri and Chafee to the Rhode Island Energy Efficiency and Resource Management Council, which oversees the implementation of the state’s energy efficiency programs and policies.[1][2]
