Biography

Nayeem received a bachelor's degree from SUNY Binghamton in 2010 and pursued a graduate degree from U.C. Berkeley.[1]

I'm a first generation American, born in Dhaka Bangladesh and my family came to America when I was in two years old via Diversity Visa lottery. I was raised in Hollis, New York City. I have MS in Agricultural & Resources Economic from UC Berkeley. I was an Education Data Analyst for South Washington County Schools for two and half years. I'm currently a Frogtown resident, community activist, and the founder/programmer of the Saint Paul Open Data Initiative, which take public data, and create interactive reports to engage the community and take action. ||Also, I'm the only candidate running as a self-proclaimed superhero, to emphasize the need for transformation and highlight the change needed in our system. My superpower is empowering other, which means unlocking their potential and amplifying their voice. Did you know that only around 1% of the age group, 18 to 20, voted in the last city council election?! We need to explain to young people why local elections matter.
