This measure sought to add to the current income tax by a rate of three-fourths percent for a further five years in order to continue to pay for current operational expenses in the school district.[3]
Text of measure
The question on the ballot:
Shall an annual income tax of ¾% on the school district income of individuals and of estates be imposed by the Ada Exempted Village School District, Hardin and Hancock Counties, Ohio, to renew an income tax expiring at the end of 2012, for five (5) years, beginning in January 1, 2013, for the purpose of current operating expenses of the School District?[4] |
