Campaign website

Bauman's campaign website stated the following:

Lower Property Tax

El Paso's property taxes are among the highest in Texas, and it's time for a change. El Pasoan's deserve better than to struggle under the weight of inflated property taxes by excessive school budgets and PR Bonds(Cashless Bail). I am committed to working with local leaders to make our property taxes more affordable for everyone in our community. Together, we can ensure a brighter future for all El Paso residents.

El Paso Business FIRST

El Paso's local and small businesses are vital to our community's economy. It is crucial that we listen to their concerns a take action to address them. I am committed to providing the necessary resources and assistance to help El Paso local and small business thrive.

Secure Border

A secure border is essential for maintaining safety and stability within El Paso. It helps prevent criminals and narcotics from crossing our border and doing harm to El Pasoan's. Having served a career in the U.S Border Patrol as part of the Border Patrol Tactical Team, or BORTAC, I have seen first hand how many criminals are apprehended and amount of narcotics that are seized. I am committed to supporting the Custom's and Border Protection mission to protect our border and keep El Paso safe.

Honoring Veterans

Our Veterans deserve to be honored each day. That starts with delivering the care and providing opportunities that help them succeed. As a U.S Navy Special Warfare Combatant Crewman Veteran, I understand the challenges that Veterans endure. I am dedicated to ensure our Veterans receive the care they deserve, cutting the red tape that delays benefits, expanding job and training opportunities. Our Veterans defended our Nation with courage and I will fight on their behalf in Congress.

Protecting Seniors

Social Security is currently estimated to remain fully in tact only until 2034 unless legislation is enacted by Congress. Our Seniors and the generations to come deserve to receive the benefits that they have paid into throughout their working lives.

I fully support enacting changes that will ensure Social Security remains in place, however, raising the minimum age limit to receive these benefits is not one of them. We need to enact common sense legislation that doesnt include making Seniors wait even longer to receive the benefits that they deserve.

Healthcare Affordability

With rising healthcare costs each year, healthcare insurance premiums are becoming more expensive than ever. Although there are many reasons as to why Insurance premiums are expensive, one reason is that different groups of the population require more healthcare costs than others. Many, if not most, insurance companies charge the younger population and those customers that dont use their healthcare as often higher premiums to cover the cost of insurance premiums of the other groups of the populations.

In Congress, we must work to make the cost more affordable so that one group of the population isn't paying more in premiums to cover the other. I am committed to working with other leaders to find a solution that will reduce the cost of insurance premiums and make insurance more affordable without the federal government subsidizing these costs.

Support for Women

The attack on women's sports and women only restrooms continues. Biological men have no business competing in women's sports and should not be allowed to use the women's restroom. I am committed to provide support for women only sports and women only restrooms, anything less is irresponsible.
