Adam is an Environmental Advocate who has been a statewide leader in the fight to ban fracking and protect our water resources. The former California director of Food & Water Watch, Adam worked to ban fracking in Santa Cruz, San Benito, and Monterey Counties. He has been an ally and strategist with Public Water Now to win public water ownership of the water system on the Monterey Peninsula. Adam is the son of school teachers and the grandson of a farmworker.
  • We must solve the climate crisis by passing a Green New Deal to achieve 100% renewable electricity by 2030 and pass a national ban on fracking.
  • We must invest in real affordable housing via the federal affordable housing trust fund as market rate housing is unaffordable. It is time to fully fund section 8 housing.
  • We must pass amnesty and a path to legalization for our immigrant and farmworker community.
