Adam Goers is a Democratic political strategist and consultant at Demo Strategies, LLC.[1] He was the deputy campaign manager for Martin O'Malley's 2016 presidential campaign.[2] Previously, Goers worked on campaigns for Hillary Clinton (D), Bruce Braley (D-Iowa) and Tim Kaine (D-Va.).
Career
Adam Goers began his political work on the financial side of campaigning. He was the deputy finance director for Tim Kaine's 2005 run for Governor of Virginia and the fianance director for Bruce Braley's 2006 campaign to represent Iowa's 1st Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives.[1] He then worked as the Midwest finance director for Hillary Clinton's 2008 presidential campaign.[3]
In 2010, Goers worked as the finance director for O'Malley's gubernatorial re-election campaign. According to MarylandReporter.com, O'Malley and his running mate outspent their opponents by financing the campaign through a slate committee: "The major difference between the two campaigns was that O’Malley-Brown created a slate committee for themselves, and transferred $6.5 million from their individual campaign accounts to the slate committee. The slate committee spent almost all its money on paid media."[4] The Maryland State Board of Elections defines a slate committee as a "committee formed by two or more candidates who agree to run as a group."[5]
Since 2011, Goers has been the executive director of O'Say Can You See PAC, O'Malley's political action committee.[1] In this capacity, according to Politico, Goers "heads up O’Malley’s PAC fundraising efforts."[6]

Adam Goers has served as executive director of Martin O'Malley's leadership PAC, O'Say Can You See PAC, since 2011.[1] On February 3, 2014, Politico named Goers as one of the chief fundraisers for O'Malley in a buildup to a presidential run:[7]

O'Malley announced his presidential run on May 30, 2015.[9] Goers then transitioned to deputy campaign manager and chief operating officer.[10]
O'Malley suspended his presidential campaign on February 1, 2016.[11]
