|- Public Safety and Border Security are my priorities! We must secure the border from dangerous, illegal activity including human and sex trafficking, fentanyl and other drugs, and other criminal activity.
- Economy – High Taxes (especially property taxes) and over-reaching, burdensome governmental regulations stifle economic growth. We need to reform the tax system and reduce regulations, and I will fight to do that.
- Education – Even with Republican control, we have incomplete action with Education, for example school vouchers, state-mandated tests, improper classroom sizes, and Critical Race Theory ideology. These issues, along with promoting vocational career paths at the high school and college levels, to create a much needed labor force to attract more businesses and industry to our area, must be championed…and I will take that on!

Scorecards
A scorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits. For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.
Ballotpedia is in the process of developing an encyclopedic list of published scorecards. Some states have a limited number of available scorecards or scorecards produced only by select groups. It is Ballotpedia’s goal to incorporate all available scorecards regardless of ideology or number.
