My name is Adam Kwentua. I am a Senior Felony Prosecutor & Assistant District Attorney with the 19th JDC, Office of the District Attorney as well as a youth football coach & mentor with the Gardere Youth Alliance & Gardere Initiative. During my time as an Assistant District Attorney, I served as a Regional Director and Louisiana Chapter President for the National Black Prosecutors Association, an organization that strives to be a catalyst for creating opportunities for minorities seeking careers in law enforcement. I am a graduate of Southern University Law Center, Tulane University and University High School.
  • Accountability. As an Assistant District Attorney and Senior Felony Prosecutor, I have experience with holding individuals accountable when necessary while acknowledging that accountability looks different for different situations. My goal is to instill a courtroom culture that seeks to make a person better leaving the court system than they were coming in whenever feasible without jeopardizing the safety of the community.
  • Commitment. My commitment to integrity, impartiality, efficiency, transparency and organization.
  • Community. My goal is to work with community partners: non-profits, religious organizations, community leaders, schools, fraternities & sororities, local business owners and others to improve the court system.
