- I believe that every American has the right to decide what happens to their own body. Roe v. Wade got it right, women should have autonomy over their reproductive health and the right to make their own decisions about continuing a pregnancy, seeking adoption, or accessing safe and legal abortion care up to the point of viability and with exceptions beyond when medically necessary. Access to reproductive healthcare is a critical component of women's health.
- Education is the key to unlocking our children's full potential and creating a better future for all Kentuckians. As your representative, I will prioritize policies that ensure every child feels safe in their school, not just as students, but as individuals. We must also recognize that our teachers are our strongest allies in this fight and must be treated as such. They deserve fair pay, benefits, and resources to support their critical work.
- I grew up with an appreciation for responsible gun ownership, having learned gun safety and deer hunting with my father. In the Army, I regularly trained and qualified with pistols, rifles, and light machine guns. As your representative, I will work to protect the rights of all Kentuckians who legally and responsibly own guns while also working to ensure that proper background checks are performed and loopholes closed so that we can better ensure that it is mature and responsible individuals who are observing that Second Amendment right.
Our public schools need to be fully funded so that our children are safe and encouraged to read and learn.
Responsible gun ownership must be protected through the second amendment while also taking measures to ensure the safety of our children and reduce unnecessary gun violence.
Me must prioritize treatment over incarceration for non-violent individuals struggling with opioid addiction.

Scorecards
A scorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits. For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.
Ballotpedia is in the process of developing an encyclopedic list of published scorecards. Some states have a limited number of available scorecards or scorecards produced only by select groups. It is Ballotpedia’s goal to incorporate all available scorecards regardless of ideology or number.
