As a lifelong Detroiter, I am dedicated and invested in Detroit. Throughout my legal career, I have spent majority of my time at the 36th District Court, representing clients in legal matters, ranging from criminal and traffic to civil and landlord-tenant. I am familiar with the issues and solutions that exist at the 36th District Court. I understand that many societal issues such as poverty, limited literacy, homelessness, and reduced access play a critical role in the legal problems faced by my community. If elected, my awareness and experience with these matters will guide me in ensuring fair and compassionate justice. I attended Bates Academy, Renaissance High School, Caldwell University, and Michigan State University - College of Law.
  • As a 36th District Court Judge, I will serve The People with an understanding of the issues and obstacles that surround their everyday life.
  • I guarantee fairness, reasonableness, and that every Defendant will have a chance to be heard.
  • I will help improve your experience at 36th District Court.
I am passionate about fair and adequate housing, fair policing, gun safety, drug rehabilitation, literacy, and mental health.
A legacy of fairness and accountability for our people. We all must work hard to make the world we live in the best possible experience.
My very first job was a disc jockey. A large majority of my time outside of school was dedicated to basketball; however, my free time was dedicated to music. Since 13 years old, I was booked by friends (or their parents) to dj various events. I maintained this job to through high school and college, occasionally dj'ing special events.
Be impartial, fair and reasonable.
To help improve the lives of Detroiters by improving 36th District Court as another reasonable judge on the bench.
Failure to appear to court and distrust of the legal system.
