Adele Grubbs
Adele Grubbs was a chief superior court judge of the Cobb County Judicial Circuit in Georgia. She was first elected to this court in 2000, effective January 2001. She announced in September 2015 her retirement from the court effective December 31, 2016.[1][2][3][4][5]
Education
Grubbs received her law degree from the University of Manchester in England.[3]
Career
Grubbs began her career as a trial lawyer in Cobb County. She worked in that capacity from 1969 until becoming a judge in 1996, spending two years of that time as an assistant district attorney. In 1995, she was appointed to the Cobb County Juvenile Court, effective in January of 1996. She served there until her election to the superior court in 2000.[2]

2012 election
Grubbs was re-elected to the Cobb Superior Court without opposition.[6] She was re-elected after receiving 99.4 percent of the vote in the July 31 election.[7]
