Adrian Armstrong is a judge on the New York Court of Claims. He was appointed by Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D) in July 2020 and confirmed on July 23, 2020, by the New York Senate.[1]
Armstrong has also served as an adjunct professor at Monroe College.[2]
Career
Prior to his role as a New York Court of Claims judge, Armstrong served as a Mount Vernon City Court judge from 2015 to 2020. He is also a former principal law clerk for the New York State Office of Court Administration (1993-2015) and a former assistant district attorney for the Office of the Bronx District Attorney (1990-1993).[3]
Prior to his role as an adjunct professor at Monroe College, Armstrong held teaching positions at Pace University (2001-2018) and Mercy College (1998-2009).[3]
