I’m Adrian Oscar Ayub — a proud Lebanese-Mexican American, real estate professional, entrepreneur, and active community member. I was raised in Cerritos, attended ABC Unified schools, and I’m now raising my voice for our community. I bring diverse experience in business, education advocacy, and civic engagement. I'm running to represent the next generation — one that honors tradition, promotes meritocracy, and demands accountability. I’ve fought on the mats and in the boardroom, and now I’m ready to fight for you — for safer streets, smarter schools, and stronger families.
  • I’m an outsider to the political machine and a product of Cerritos — not special interests. I stand for clean leadership, transparency, and action. I will never take money from special interests or outside influencers. I’m here to serve you, not them.
  • My campaign champions Ayubism — a bold, inclusive, and modern conservatism rooted in family, freedom, and opportunity. I will cut red tape, support small businesses, and push for responsible spending while ensuring every voice is heard — regardless of background.
  • As someone who grew up in the district and comes from a working-class immigrant family, I know what it means to build from nothing. I’m here to create real upward mobility — especially for youth, veterans, and our elderly. I will advocate tirelessly for public safety, education, and housing access.
I am deeply passionate about education reform, public safety, affordable housing, and economic empowerment. I want to restore high standards in our schools, support our law enforcement, and ensure housing remains accessible to working families and seniors. I also believe in protecting parental rights, promoting entrepreneurship and financial literacy in underserved communities.
It connects people with policy in a way higher offices cannot. It's where local concerns become legislative action. The unique power here is proximity — to the people, their issues, and the ability to respond quickly and authentically to real problems.
President Ronald Reagan is someone I really admire for his beliefs and positivity, in tough times.I also have respect, for Brigitte Gabriel who stands up for faith and freedom fearlessly in terms of security. They both prove that it's possible to lead with boldness while still holding onto your values and beliefs.
Yes — I recommend “The Road to Serfdom” by Friedrich Hayek for its powerful defense of free markets and individual liberty, warning against the dangers of centralized government control. I also point to Brigitte Gabriel’s “Rise”, which articulates the importance of preserving Western values, and national identity in the face of cultural and political erosion. For a deeper look at America’s founding principles, “The 5000 Year Leap” by W. Cleon Skousen shows how Judeo-Christian values, limited government, and personal responsibility built the most successful republic in history.
Integrity, courage, humility, and loyalty to the people — not to special interests. An elected official must lead with moral conviction, stand firm in truth even when it's unpopular, and never forget they are a servant, not a ruler. Principles like fiscal responsibility, transparency, meritocracy, and constitutional fidelity must guide every decision. In an age of performative politics, authenticity and accountability matter most.
Courageous and unwavering, in my convictions disciplined like an artist in thought like a seasoned businessman and compassionate at heart, with a servants demeanor. Challenges don't deter me pressure doesn't break me deep listening guides my actions and the importance of those I stand for is always remembered.
To listen to the people, not special interests. To advocate for policies that reflect the community's values. To ensure fiscal responsibility, protect public safety, support education, and promote transparency. Most importantly, the job is to serve — not to rule — and to uphold the public trust at all times.
I aspire to be remembered as the individual who courageously spoke up when others chose to remain silent. A person who reestablished faith, in leadership and inspired the generation while creating something not for personal accolades but, for the betterment of others. A tenacious fighter who never gave up and a visionary who always left a positive mark wherever he went.
The book 'The Road, to Serdom' by Friedrich Hayek truly altered my perspective on the concepts of freedom and accountability for the better. It delves into the erosion of liberty that occurs when government exceeds its bounds and emphasizes the importance of vigilance against tyranny in any form. Especially when it masquerades as measures, for safety or equality
Captain America, a hero who stays true to his beliefs no what happens around him. Faithfulness and loyalty are his guiding principles that I admire and aim to embody as a steadfast leader willing to stand up for justice.
Sean Pauls 'Temperature' is the song I blast when I enter the gym. It really pumps up my adrenaline. Brings back memories of all those moments where I had to step up under stress and perform my best.
I often find myself in situations where people don't quite understand me because I don't neatly fit into categories. Being someone who appreciates values while also supporting change means I've had to work even harder to gain respect without sacrificing my true self. However these challenges have only made me stronger determined and more dedicated, to helping those, around me.
Yes — many don’t realize this office can shape zoning, school curriculum priorities, public safety budgets, or infrastructure timelines. These decisions directly impact daily life, yet are often overlooked. That’s why it’s vital to elect leaders who are informed, grounded, and community-driven.
Not necessarily. What matters more is integrity, common sense, and commitment. Career politicians can become disconnected. Fresh eyes and business or community leadership experience often lead to more pragmatic, innovative solutions. I bring that entrepreneurial, service-first perspective.
The most helpful skills are communication, critical thinking, and financial literacy. An official must be able to analyze budgets, understand legal and policy implications, and communicate effectively with both the public and government agencies. Leadership under pressure, negotiation, and the ability to build consensus without sacrificing principles are essential. Familiarity with business, education, and community organizing helps bridge gaps between government and real-world issues. Above all, integrity and a servant-leader mindset are more important than any résumé — because character is what sustains good governance.
This office is closest to the people — it’s where everyday concerns meet policy. Whether it's improving neighborhood safety, responding to school concerns, or shaping housing and infrastructure decisions, this role directly impacts quality of life. Unlike higher offices, local officials are visible, reachable, and accountable in real-time. The ability to advocate for your community at council meetings, boards, or with regional partners gives this position a unique grassroots power. It’s not about headlines — it’s about homes, streets, schools, and the everyday lives of real people. That’s what makes it both powerful and sacred.
Why did the scarecrow get elected?
Because he was outstanding in his field.
Republican National Hispanic Assembly, Greater Pasadena Republican Assembly
Full transparency is non-negotiable. Every taxpayer dollar should be tracked, and every official should be held accountable. I support annual performance audits, real-time budget disclosures, and ethical oversight committees. Sunshine is the best disinfectant — corruption thrives in the dark, and I intend to bring light.
