|I have always worked across political divides so families in our district can build a better life, and I always will. With responsive leadership, we can address our healthcare crisis, develop affordable housing, invest in schools and good jobs, prevent fires, and build a better future.
- No matter who you are, where you come from, or what you do for a living, if you work hard, you should be able to support your family.
- Currently, the Washington State House and Senate both have a Democratic majority. That means Democrats make the vast majority of decisions on the budget and legislation. We can't expect Democrats from the west side to advocate for the unique needs of rural working people and families, businesses, and land in North Central Washington. District 12 needs a seat at the table when Washington State budget and policy is being written and decided - we need a voice where it matters.
- We need strong leadership that knows the issues and is willing to bridge divides to deliver results for our region. That's the work I do, and the kind of leader I've always been and always will be.
Those experiences were with me when I returned to Eastern Washington and took a position as the sole staff member of a small nonprofit. For more than twelve years, I took pride in helping it become what it is today: a community leader and critical resource for our neighbors seeking social and health services.
