Aizaz Shaikh is a native of Gwinnett, licensed real estate broker, and civic leader with a distinguished record across real estate, education, aviation, logistics, and public service. As a community leader, he brings a deep understanding of the local community and a lifelong commitment to service, mentorship, and institutional stewardship. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Georgia Gwinnett College with a degree in Business Administration and became a licensed pilot shortly after. In his senior year, he was appointed as a commissioner on Gwinnett County’s Human Relations Commission, the youngest member at the time. His career reflects a consistent pattern of advancement, command responsibility, and award-recognized leadership grounded in accountability and integrity. From an early age, Aizaz demonstrated a strong inclination toward service and teamwork. In high school, he pioneered the student athletic training program, supporting student-athletes and coaches through injury prevention, rehabilitation, and game-day operations. He also coordinated multiple blood drives through the American Red Cross addressing the constant need for blood, platelets, and plasma. Initially, he planned to pursue an education in Athletic Training; however signed up to serve in the United States Air Force—an early decision that reflected a willingness to place service above self which set the foundation for his future leadership path.
  • As a homeowner and real estate professional, Aizaz Shaikh knows that we need to lower the barrier of homeownership so all Americans are afforded the opportunity to experience the joys of owning a home. He has already helped numerous first-time homebuyers and many others get into homes. Once elected, he will continue to help decrease the cost of homeownership through legislation that will reduce property taxes, increase first-time homebuyer programs, and continue to provide education to those who seek it.
  • A small business owner & Air Force Veteran, financial literacy is something Aizaz takes very seriously. The best way to tackle our affordability crisis is to educate more Americans early on in their lives on best practices for money management; whether that be through adding it to the school curriculum or offering after-school programs for all ages. As a teenager, he worked with his family to help others save their homes during the 2008 economic downturn. It was then he realized that many people are not aware of their options when in a financial bind. This motivated him to take action at an early age by opting to take a Financial Literacy course in high school where he learned how to write a check, do his taxes, and how to budget.
  • Aizaz Shaikh has been a substitute teacher with Gwinnett County Public Schools since 2017. In that time he has had the privilege of serving in multiple types of classrooms including special needs. Due to this role, he learned that there are limited resources for Special Needs children. At 21 years of age, a special needs child “ages out” and has to find support elsewhere. Although there are programs that currently exist, Aizaz plans to support existing programs and work on adding additional ones to help ease the stress of not only the child, but also their parents.
Aizaz is a strong proponent for lower taxes in order to keep Georgians hard earned money in their pockets.

Shaikh is a firm believer in school choice where parents have a say in their child's education.

Aizaz stands strong with protecting our children from the harmful effects of social media and believes internet safety is paramount.
