Akron, Gilford & Koylton Township Road Levy Increases, 3 (August 2010)
Three Township Road Levy Increase measures were on the August 3, 2010 ballot in the townships of Akron, Gilford and Koylton which are in Tuscola County.
Two of the three measures were approved
Th Akron township measure sought to increase the current road levy by $1 per $1,000 of assessed property for a further five years in order to pay for construction and maintenance of roads in the township.
The Gilford township measure sought to increase the current road levy of $2 per $1,000 of assessed property for a further four years in order to pay for the maintenance and operation of roads in the township.
The Koylton township measure sought to increase the current road levy of $2 per $1,000 of assessed property for a further four years in order to pay for the maintenance and operation of the roads in the township.[1]
