Alton Bain is an attorney in North Carolina.

Bain ran for the seat held by Rick Elmore on the North Carolina Court of Appeals in 2010. He lost in the primary election, when Steven Walker and Rick Elmore garnered more votes.[1] Bain came in last of the four candidates in the May 4 primary vote.[2]

The state Democratic Party endorsed Bain.[2]

Bain earned his J.D. from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill.[3]
