Al Salehi was a 2014 independent candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 45th Congressional District of California.[1]

Salehi earned a bachelor's degree from UCLA and was working on a graduate specialization from USC's Rossier School at the time of his candidacy. He was a therapist and a guest lecturer at UCLA.[2]
