Al White (b. June 22, 1950) is a former Republican member of the Colorado State Senate, representing District 8 from 2009 to 2011. He left office on January 11, 2011, and was replaced by his wife, Jean White.

White served in the Colorado State House of Representatives from 2000 to 2008. During this time he served as Assistant Majority Leader.

Biography

White earned his B.A. in English from the University of Colorado in 1972. His professional experience includes owning Golden Spike Ski Shops and a ski business. He served in the United States Army from 1970 to 1971.

On November 4, 2008, White was elected to the 8th District Seat in the Colorado State Senate, defeating opponent Ken Brenner (D).[1]

White raised $157,885 for his campaign, while Brenner raised $68,144.[2]
