Alaa Abdelaziz (Democratic Party) (also known as Al) is a member of the New Jersey General Assembly, representing District 35. He assumed office on January 23, 2025. His current term ends on January 13, 2026.
Abdelaziz (Democratic Party) is running for re-election to the New Jersey General Assembly to represent District 35. He is on the ballot in the general election on November 4, 2025. He advanced from the Democratic primary on June 10, 2025.
Abdelaziz was appointed to the New Jersey General Assembly on January 16, 2025, after Benjie Wimberly (D) was appointed to another position.[1]
Biography
Alaa Abdelaziz earned a bachelor's degree from William Paterson University and a graduate degree from the University of Scranton. His career experience includes working as an assistant principal.[2]
